The West Hollywood resident who put up an effigy of vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and presidential candidate John McCain has cut the noose.
Sheriff's officials say Chad Michael Morrisette decided to remove the controversial display after discussing the situation with West Hollywood Mayor Jeffrey Prang on Wednesday.
